i feel i've been very subtle and modest about the stuff i care about on this wbesite up until this very day for no actual reason. But i can't control the urge to be very unhinged about my interests and i don't actually see the point to do so anyway. So now please be so kind and read through a page worth of incoherent jellyfish facts. I would say I'm sorry, but that would be the most atrocious lie that has ever left my keyboard.

okay so like what exactly are jellyfish?

Jellyfish are mysterious creatures, despite being around even before dinosaurs there's still a lot humans don't actually know about them.

you can find them in every ocean and on every depths, some species even live in freshwater. Despite their name they are not a type of fish, but planktons.

Jellyfish don't have any organs or bones, only a nervous system, that helps them navigate around the waters. They have a very simplified digestive system, which means they use the same aperture to and to shit.

Many jellyfish are bioluminescent. This ability can helps them to scare of their predators or attract their prey.

What people normally call jellyfish aren't actually a species, but one of the life stages of the medusa.

Their body is made up of 90% water if you take them out of the ocean they die.

Different species

how are they literally so cool??

No pissing!

Eventhough every jellyfish has some kind of venom, a lot of them aren't strong enough to affect humans. Regardless it's not a very good idea to touch them bare skin even after they are washed out to beach, because they can still sting after they died. Please don't piss on people's jellyfish stings, because it doesn't help, instead take them to a hospital!

Don't litter!

Sea turtles, one of the predators of jellyfish often confuse plastic bags with their dinner, and accidentally end up eating trash instead of yummy sea pudding(jellyfish). So please try to avoid using plastic bags as much as possible and just generally be a good kid and don't litter

that's it for now, i hope you've absorbed something new into your frontal lobe. Though it's important to note that sadly i'm no marine biologyst. i tried to fact-check when i wasnt sure about something, but some stuff might be incorrect, so please feel free to yell at me, wherever you can find me if you see any misinformation. thank you (⌒▽⌒)☆
