this is pretty much what happened on this mudflood covered planet. and though the residents’ circumstances might look a bit depressing and a bit gloomy and definitely very dark at first sight, i assure you throughout the years they have pretty much adapted and even befriended their living conditions.
there are also some additional advantages of the neverending flooding, which includes a soothing perpetual little melody produced by the water drops hitting the surface of the metal constructs and a strong aroma of petrichor constantly lingering around the tunnels.

the soil on these grounds seems to be full of potential for a flourishing agriculture. the residents condense the past into a mushy amalgamation of nurturing and nourishing dirt that eventually fuel the roots of a novel plane of life.
it's a stabilized feedback loop. everyone wants to join and take out their own part of the cycle, even jellygirls. as you can see this is a very appealing circuit.
