there was this jellygirl once,-namely humus pottage- who had found herself grounded in a limiting boundaryfield. humus wasn’t the hasty type but the need to hurry up and redefine her old form was too tempting even for her. and so she hatched and re-hatched and re-re-hatched the egg shells until she was so deformed from her original materialization that she was no longer recognizable or even definable.
afterwards humus moved on to find a nice place she could territorialize for herself,
preferably a healthy and benevolent harbour, a host. the search was successful and the occupancy went as smoothly as an occupation of this nature could go.
but then soon it turned out that the vessel she had chosen to occupy wasn't as healthy as she had originally estimated it to be. but at that point there was no return. after all that vessel sacrificed all the limited amount of consciousness she had just for humus’s well-being and so now she is perpetually chained to her host by conscience and gratitude.
