august: FLAME JELLYFISH
This is one of the subspecies of jellyfish that is safe for humans to eat. In South-Asia edible jellyfish is considered a delicacy. Flame jellyfish prefer warm waters with lower salinity, so in China people even started breeding them in ponds. They are named after their red arms, which apparently reminded scientists of flames.

october: DINNER PLATE JELLYFISH
Dinner plate jellyfish are unique because while most jellyfish usually just nonchalantly float around in the ocean waiting for their meals to pass by them, these sea-jellies are actually actively hunting for something they can put on their dinner-plates. (haha funny joke, be amazed by immaculate sense of humor)
